The building is at the entrance to the prestigious “Campo de las Naciones” business park adjacent to Barajas international airport. With ecological sensitivity towards the harsh summers the building was designed, while at SOM, within an environmental shroud. The elevation is of clear glass that is shaded by a stainless steel mesh that is 4 metres away from the façade. The entrance sequence is through a stepped water garden that culminates in a double height lobby. This building was designed whilst at SOM and won the Best Office award at MIPIM 2007.
